Motourama Part 18: Slovakian Wellness

Hello family, friends and followers! It was time to say goodbye to Krakow and Poland. The roads were calling our names again, aching to take us to new destinations and adventures. We obliged and saddled up.

On our way south we enjoyed the diverse scenery and the well paved roads, starting in rain, arriving in sunshine.

Bad weather, not much of a view, demanding a lot of concentration.

Getting better..

…and better…

…revealing the full beauty of the landscape at the end of the day.

We found a popular local hostel in the nature close to Talè, where we would spend the night. Having unpacked, we explored the surroundings and Denise got a spontaneous wellness treatment from a lake full off tadpoles (Denise definitely likes the German word ”Kaulquappen” better).

Artificial lake. Sadly not ready for swimming yet…

…but for a free wellness treatment just fine. Nibbling all the old skin off, tickling slightly though.

After the well deserved spa treatment en naturel, we went further into the surroundings, where we stumbled upon a derelict cabin. If it hadn’t been daylight still, it would have been more than eerie.

The derelict cabin.

Getting out illegally, where we got in legally. Wait, what? Ups!

Until next time, keep relaxed.
